Dixie Noonan

Senior Advisor, A Woman's Nation

Dixie Noonan served as Senior Counsel and Director of Partnership Initiatives for A Woman’s Nation, where she led a number of initiatives that A Woman’s Nation was inspired to implement following its publication of The Shriver Report: A Woman’s Nation Pushes Back from the Brink. Dixie created and managed economic empowerment initiatives that are focused on improving women’s economic outcomes and financial capability. She is currently a member of the A Woman’s Nation Board of Directors.

Dixie first joined the A Woman’s Nation team as pro bono counsel on The Shriver Report from her post as Counsel at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, an international law firm where her work focused on financial services litigation and investigations. From 2009 to 2010, Dixie served as Senior Counsel to the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, leading complex investigations on behalf of the United States government into the causes of the financial crisis of 2008. She previously served as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and as law clerk to the Honorable Morris S. Arnold of the U.S. Court of Appeals.

In her work on The Shriver Report and its related initiatives, Dixie combined her advocacy of and passion for improving women’s lives with her skill conducting inquiries into significant and complex issues.
