Allison Maloney

Allison Maloney is a writer and communicator.

Before joining the Shriver Report team, she worked for Newsweek and The Daily Beast Company, K Records and Southeast Ohio Magazine. She also co-founded RASCAL, a print and online magazine, alongside a talented crew of young writers, designers, photographers, and artists. She takes pride in her many creative contributions to ‘zines and DIY-published collections of writing.

Allison holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism from E.W. Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University, where she minored in history and African-American studies. Currently based in California, she considers herself lucky to also call North Carolina, Ohio, Washington, and New Jersey “home.”
