Erin Mulcahy Stein

Executive Director, A Woman’s Nation

Erin is a lawyer, producer and non-profit executive. From 2012 through the present, Erin has served as the executive director of A Woman’s Nation™, overseeing The Shriver Report initiative. From 2003 through March 2011, Erin served as the president and executive director of The Women’s Conference organization.  In this capacity Erin spearheaded and managed the production of the annual live conference hosted by Maria Shriver and the related WE programs aimed at empowering and supporting women.

Prior to 2003, Erin practiced law at Long & Levit, handling trials in multi-party insurance cases, and at Weissmann, Wolff, Bergman, Coleman & Silverman, handling entertainment business litigation. At the same time, Erin served on the board of directors of several nonprofit organizations, acting as board chair of United Friends of the Children.  Since 1998, Erin has been a partner in United Friends of the Children and Equality Now.

Erin received her JD from University of San Diego School of Law, and her BA from University of California, San Diego.
