Rosanna Cacace

Rosanna Cacace is a reproductive Health Educator and a Certified Family Planning Health Worker for Planned Parenthood Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. Since 2009, Rosanna developed and provided comprehensive and evidence based reproductive and sexual health education for various communities in the San Gabriel Valley.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in women studies from California State University, Northridge. She also received her Master’s in English Literature with concentration in writing and gender studies. Her expertise in both writing and gender and sexuality enables her to design and facilitate culturally sensitive curricula that are all-inclusive and non-judgmental.

She was a recent presenter at the 2013 Safe, Healthy, Strong, national conference of Planned Parenthood in Madison WI, where she discussed the implementation of LGBT related issues in reproductive and sexual health curricula for elementary aged youth. She also presented at USC’S EDGY conference and was a recent panel member for Pasadena’s ACLU’s discussion on immigration and healthcare reform.

Outside of Planned Parenthood, Rosanna is a performance artist; she has written, produced, and performed her own one woman show, 3 Roses of Lebanon throughout southern California and continues to be an active participant in the Los Angeles theatre community.
