Jillian Manus is president of Manus Media & Literary Agency, a communications, business development and brand expansion business that represents a diverse range of clients including business, medical & political leaders, celebrity musicians, actors, chefs and professional athletes. Some of her current clients are Newt Gingrich, Meg Whitman, Attorney General Kamala Harris, Surgeon General Richard Carmona, Dr. Louann Brizendine, Russell Simmons, Carlos Santana, Graham Nash, Kenneth Walsh, Howard Buffett, Mark Victor Hansen, Tyrese Gibson and Rev Run, Chris McCormack and Jerry Rice. Ms. Manus brings to her work extensive knowledge of the marketplace that has been acquired in the course of a distinguished and multi-faceted career.
Ms. Manus has been a television agent at International Creative Management, director of development at Warner Brothers and Universal Studios, vice president of media acquisitions at Trender AG/Credit Suisse, and an associate publisher of a national magazine covering entertainment and technology. Due to her extensive background, she is a much sought after speaker on politics, media analysis, women in business and transformational philanthropy. She speaks to audiences ranging from 200 to 15,000 people.
Ms. Manus lends her time to professional, artistic, and political endeavors. She serves as a member on national and community boards including: Trustees for New York University, Dean’s Council for the Tisch School of the Arts, College Track, California Museum for Women History and the Arts, Communities in Schools, Stanford Hospital’s Cancer Center, Stanford Hospital Women’s Health Council Board, W.I.S.H. List (Women in the Senate and House) and was named to the George W. Bush 50 Women CEOs and Election Advisory Boards. She also developed and as Chair for seven years for the largest women’s conference in the world, The Women’s Conference, under the leadership of Maria Shriver. As an active philanthropist, Ms. Manus is very involved in the development efforts of numerous literacy, education, healthcare and environmental programs globally, with a particular focus on the empowerment and protection of women and children.
Ms. Manus is an involved mother of two children, ages 17 and 14 who keep her “authentic.” Her hobbies include running, salsa dancing, golf, teaching, writing and theatre.
