Brendan V. Johnson

Brendan Johnson was nominated by President Obama as the 40th United States Attorney for the District of South Dakota and confirmed unanimously by the United States Senate on October 15, 2009.  He has chaired the Justice Department’s Native American Issues Subcommittee and prioritized violence against women and human trafficking in South Dakota.  Brendan and his wife, Dr. Jana Johnson, are the parents of four children.  Brendan is also the son of United States Senator Tim Johnson.
