Best Remake Ever? #ITouchMyself

The Divinyls 1990 hit, “I Touch Myself” is one of the best-known anthems celebrating female sexuality. When the song’s front-woman, Chrissy Amphlett developed breast cancer, she wanted the song to become an anthem spreading awareness about the importance of touching ourselves in the name of early detection for the disease.

According to the project’s website, as a tribute to Chrissy’s memory, her husband Charley Drayton, fellow songwriters, Cancer Council NSW and supporters from around the globe have come together to make sure that women are in touch with their bodies, and if something isn’t right, they see their doctor.

The new version of “I Touch Myself” is available for purchase on iTunes and was recorded in Australia’s oldest and largest recording studio, the infamous Studios 301.
